I actually remember this one. I must have had a grandchild to watch it with.

All those things I know nothing about. Is that the curse of being born in the 40’s? Or is it the blessing?

This is a reference to a Disney movie that came out in 2000, The Emperor's New Groove. In it, the villain tries to poison the emperor (Kuzco) but accidentally turn him into a llama instead. :)

Yes, thanks. I had looked it up and concluded it was between generations for me. My kids were too old and the grand kids were too young so even though it was Disney, it was in a time period when I guess I was tuned out. But today is a time of discovery so thanks for for introducing me to something completely new :-)

I had originally skipped the film because the title gave the impression it was aimed at a specific demographic, but it turns out to be great fun, immensely quotable, very well made, and enjoyable by all. It somehow has the feel of a throwback to classic buddy comedies. The voice casting (and acting) is pretty much perfect across the board, and includes names that people of your and my generations will recognize and appreciate, including Eartha Kitt and singer Tom Jones. Highly recommended.

Oh, Eartha Kitt!! The definitive version of “Santa Baby”; those who have covered it since all sound like six-year-olds pouting and not like someone deserving of a ring from Tiffany’s. And I saw her in Timbuktu (Kismet moved to the great Islamic empire in Africa). By the time she finished describing how to make some sweet dish—With … A … Long … Handled … Wooden … Spoon—I think the entire audience experienced a moment that can’t be more precisely identified on a family-friendly site. Whew! Redefined the word erotic.

I also recommend The Emperor's New Groove for anyone! I am not a Disney person but it's one of my all-time favorite movies. Well-written dialogue and excellent visual gags. The diner scene is my fave :) Agreed with user Ichneumon totally.
