He's clearly cheating or outright lying. Going by it's comment history is clear to see it. Some are way to big to really believe it.

Sure, I wish I could give the benefit of the doubt. But, for example, clearing a 35x35 under 10 minutes, or a 43x45 on 14 minutes is hard to believe.
Anyways, I don't really win anything calling it out so for my own peace of mind, I'll just believe we're in the presence of a supergenius and move on.

Well, I'm one of the slower ones, but I didn't find it particularly difficult (I'm just slow.) Wonderful picture, and I look forward to the colour one, unless it's bigger...

35:12. I never rush and always enjoy a nice challenge, so it was quite good. Didn't knew the image until the end and was very rewarding!

20:09 for me, but I'm never a very fast solver. It was realizing how much of the leftmost and rightmost columns couldn't be filled in without messing up the columns next to them that finally got me going.

I took my time while doing other physical things so I don't count. I did do it without Xs (which takes longer, but extends the enjoyment).
