lalalailoveyou, once again, my favorite subject hung up in that picture (or should I say got hung up?). Great as usual.

When I was a kid, we moved from the suburbs to the country, where there were a lot of tall pine trees. My cat was very young still, and one day she climbed WAYYY up into one of these trees. We had no ladder tall enough to fetch her. We put food under the tree, but she didn't come down. We called the fire department, telling them that we had a cat up a tree, and they laughed so hard. "You must be from the suburbs! You're in the country now; we don't get cats out of trees!" We couldn't think of anything else to do. But after three days and nights, she came down on her own and we found her on a stump, calmly licking her paws.
