One of these days I'm going to get one of the computer monitors that swings around 90 degrees, and then I'll enjoy the puzzles that are 35 or more pixels ono the vertical axis. In the meantime, I love these long, skinny, horizontal puzzles. :)

Most monitors will do that (although you'll need to prop them up, their stands are not made for it). It used to take a special monitor designed with that capability; it doesn't now.
reply... the monitor that you have now will probably do it. Check your windowing system settings.

Not sure how old my monitor is, but it's very clunky and difficult to move around. I can't see how I would set it up this way, and it would be too much hassle even if actually possible. I want one that I could swivel without having to move things around on my cluttered desk.
