Japanese crossword «Hephaestus»

The story of Hephaestus has taught me that an honest struggle can overcome any obstacle for those who are determined to create beauty. My obstacle was that the first version of this puzzle I submitted was impossible. My struggle was making 22 slightly different versions of the same picture in the hopes of publishing this one.

I have no idea what I am going to do with 22 nearly identical pictures of Hephaestus.
