Isn't it fun to let it blow in the wind? When I was 16 and had waist-length hair, I rode on top of a load of firewood in the back of a borrowed pick-up truck and unbraided my hair to let it blow in the wind of travel. It felt great! And then I spent two hours brushing the tangles out. Now I have it a little below my chin - I can let it blow in the wind without making much extra work for myself.
