Hey! I still have a fully-functional rotary phone connected to our landline - and it has the best sound quality of any phone in the house. Nice solid construction. It is now considered 'retro,' my daughter informs me, and back in style.
Hey, careful throwing around that "ancient"! Those phones were great. Never ever broke down. Proper earpiece so you didn't stop hearing if you moved it a couple of millimeters. If you wanted a picture, you bought a camera.
