A couple of the pinks are very similar to each other.
replyFantastic picture! The colours are lovely, the close shades only make it more realistic. Good how there's some white spaces to make it a little more challenging
replyBeautiful picture.. The tons are similars, but is nice :)
replySome of the pinks are so close! But it's beautiful.
replyStop using such similar colours, I kept making "mistakes" but really it was colour differentiation!
replyI felt color blind the entire time - "is this it? No? How about this?"
replyI love the blank spaces for the challenge, but the pinks are too similar!
replyThe very similar pinks were very challenging, but I really enjoyed the challenge.
replyThe similar tones of pink made it more challenging but really beautiful. Very nice work.
replyLoved the colors, made the simple puzzle very challenging
replyBeautiful...but honestly I think the two similar pinks could have been combined into one colour and it would have been fine (and much easier to solve).
replyThe picture is very beautiful, however telling these similar colours apart was the real challenge.
replyVery beautiful and the shades of pink were a great challenge! Love it, thanks :D
replyI liked it. The pinks were very close which lead to a bit of guesswork but I think the image is very nice and the puzzle was just the right level of difficulty to be fun.
replyidk what you are all complaining about. I've seen puzzles with WAAAAY harder color differentiation. This puzzle was great! Although, I do normally like a little bit more of color sections. It can make it easier to solve. This was a challenge but really enjoyable, although I knew exactly what it was as soon as I did the trunk first :)
replynice end result but colours too close together unless you have a top of the range graphics set up on your pc.
replyHere's a hint for dealing with very similar colors. In settings, if you check the box that says "A left click on the number chooses the colour" then you can "pick up" the correct color every time.
replySeconding Judith's suggestion. Although, that doesn't do anything to alleviate the tediousness of having to change colors all the time, and you'll still have to notice that a change is even necessary. That's what makes these "spotty" pictures less fun for me ... Beautiful end result, though, which makes up for the effort involved.
replybeautiful! love the shading. i think the close-color issue is more a problem of the program, it could use a different way to distinguish. not as hard as i thought it'd be, and well worth it :) thanks!
replyReally beautiful, though a nightmare to put together! Loved the end product, though!
reply"They are all beautiful."
For those who have so many issues with color differentiation, I would suggest adjusting the contrast on your monitor or buy a better monitor. I've never had the issues that some have. Sure, some of these are tough, but not tough enough to complain about. Especially when the end result is so much more rewarding than most.

Gorgeous picture!
For picking colors, I often look at them comparatively to help me get the right one. So I would say "This is a darker pink, but not as dark as the number next to it, so I need the second darkest" instead of "I think this color selection block looks like that numbered square."

Four pinks was at least one too many. Totally unnecessary.
replyAbsolutely beautiful, and a wonderful colour palette giving great depth to the image. Thank you!
replyI disagree about too many pinks, they are each distinct and beautiful and subtle. I have done others where colors are nearly impossible to distinguish, but felt this one added very well to the beauty. I assume sakura is cherry tree blossoms and I thank you for sharing. Beautiful
replyI think that similar colors make it just look better.
replyA tricky one! Stunningly beautiful due to the colours...
replyit's beautiful, a perfect spring design, tricky yes, thanks
