Japanese crossword «Onion»

Decent picture, but should have been made smaller. The bottom part is quite tedious and without challenge.

It's a cute pic, but here is my issue: the lower part is way to big to be so simple. The upper part does take a lot of counting, but is in a different drawing style. So make it smaller and simplify the upper part or detail the lower part more.

Funny little guy, very nice and fun to solve
