The title doesn't translate well into American English, but after an Internet search I decided it was a nice representation. And it was a fun puzzle.

A skittle is a thing you knock down, like in ten pin bowling. Sorry the spoiler option will not work on my computer.

what we in the U.S. call Duckpins (as opposed to candlepins, used mostly in the northern U.S.

I can't say I've never heard of duckpins or candlepins --they sound vaguely familiar but I couldn't have told you what they were--whereas skittles is very familiar. (And I'm willing to bet I've lived in the northern U.S. longer than most anyone who's commented.)

I'm in Midwest U.S. and we have a few places to play duckpins. It's so fun!
