Japanese crossword «Three-Spot Gourami»

Most pixels seem randomly placed for the sake of it honestly, random splashes of colors here and there for no real reason and an awful lot of weird "criss-cross" with empty patches in between

That took some time. It starts out quite smoothly, but than turns to hell. Of course by then you're to deep into it to let it go. That was fun, well done!
The picture though ... even knowing the name it seems blurred to me (and I had to google it). But I love the beautiful colours.
