The two dark grey colors were very hard to differentiate from one another. Maybe you could make the light grey lighter, and generally make a lot of difference between the greys, with so many in the picture? Alternatively, you could combine the two dark grey colors into one color without losing much from the picture. Thanks for creating a puzzle for us!
replyGrays were way too close on my screen and had to keep clicking on squares to get right color. This made puzzle tedious to do with too many 1's or errors when I tried to guess. That being said thumbnail pic is good. Keep bringing the puzzles on.
replyA good challenge and interesting picture, thank you. I agree that the greys 3 & 7 are a bit too similar and with brightly_lit that you wouldn’t loose much (at least on my screen) by combining them. I didn’t find the 1s an issue at all.

replyDitto...I wil check how close the colours are before I even start a future puzzle. I think you are very clever, but this was tedious.
replyGreys were very close. The dark red and ... brown? were also very close. I'm colorblind, and even with my browser plug-in to change colors, it was still impossible for me to differentiate them.
consider using fewer colors and fewer "1"'s. "difficulty" due to being unable to differentiate colors is not the same as logical difficulty - it's much less fun, and much more tedious.

This one wasn't much fun trying to figure out the different shades and then them all next to each other in 1s. Too much guessing required.
