Thank you for this puzzle; I am happy to see an one I was NOT able to do one color a time, in the order as they are displayed (green-purple-orange in this case).

Right. This is beyond my level. Couldn't even grasp the logic behind the hints I was given. Shame on you all for flauntering your 5-min and no-X solutions at my face! :(

Yeah, I had a hard time with this as well. I have to get used to more of these color mismatches, especially when you can't technically mark an X in a space but you know it can't be filled in a certain color.
