To each his own. I found that not quite checkerboard very tedious. For me the final picture is very cute, but it didn't make up for the boring process of doing the puzzle. Not a lot of logic, just finicky counting. I'm glad someone liked it.
We all have our own preferences. I'm thankful there are lots of different puzzles to keep us all entertained.

I was working from the bottom and at first thought it was going to be a basket with flowers. Super cute, and fun to do. I did not mind the checkerboard. It had enough of a pattern that I could follow it easily. Thank you.
