Two carrots are walking down the road. One gets hit by a car. In the emergency room, the doctor comes out to tell the carrot friend, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is he is going to live. The bad news...he will be a vegetable for the rest of his life.
I couldn't resist. This was the only joke my daughter knew when she was young and we all got to hear it and act surprised about a million times.
