Puzzles cannot be uploaded if they require guessing.

What about puzzles that require trial-and-error? I've been avoiding making puzzles like that (that's why there's a button on the sleeve; it needs trial-and-error otherwise).

What do you mean by trial-and-error? I sometimes consider what logically follows if some specific square is filled, to see if a contradiction results (that approach is limited by my ability to keep track of multiple squares). I sometimes wonder how much of that the checking algorithm allows.
Anyway, this two-colour puzzle was an interesting variation; thanks.

The checking algorithm allows that only inside one line. One day, I was uploading a puzzle that requires just one step (a square in one line results in a contradiction in the next line), and the site said "No".

Just in case, read the information from the front-page:"We guarantee our crosswords, that all of them have no mistakes and have only one solution achieved without any "guessing"/.../Also on the site we have "smart" hints (they open the squares only following the rules of solving Japanese crosswords)."

Kept going, kept plugging at it, then it fell apart for me. Great little puzzle, thank you.
