Fun fact: there is no intrinsic/physical reason to say that the rainbow includes 7 colors, vs 5 or 4 or 8. Isaac Newton just thought 7 is a nice number, like the 7 Heavenly Bodies known at the time (sun, moon, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn)
