This was very challenging. The pattern lends itself to 'well it HAS to be this' kind of solving, but to actually prove some of the bottom cells logically was quite hard. I steer clear putting in pixels unless I can logically know the answer is correct, so this led to a lot of moving one pixel at a time to keep progressing. That type of thing can be tedious in black-and-white puzzles, but here where you never quite know which color is going to open things up again, it never felt like a slog.
On top of the excellent construction, the image is wonderful. Despite the subject matter, I found it bright and refreshing. Would love to encounter more color puzzles like this one.

I really enjoyed this one because of the unusual subject. It was a little fidgety, but the was a certain logic behind that, which made the picture work really well! Nice job devising this one!

replyI completed 782 puzzles, I'm sure this is the hardest one.
I checked one by one it can be or not, almost to the end of the puzzle.
But I did it no hint, no Xs. So I'm satisfied. I can go sleep now.

What an amazing puzzle, thankyou for the work you put in to get it submitted! Did complete without guessing, but I had to sweat it with my girlfriend looking over my shoulder insisting I should just fill in the spots that "look like it should be there" :joy:
replyWhew! That was a challenge. I made some educated guesses based on color and amount of squares of that color, but it was more right than wrong. Thank you for such a challenging puzzle.

replyIt was hard! At one point (the uppermost row) I had to rely on 'by all logic of outlines' and 'it looks like [the actual thing] this way so those pixels come here' otherwise I may be still scrathing my head.
