I didn´t, but I used to lit them one after another because of the smell, which I later learned came from the sulfur particles in it. Sadly, those days are gone, since nowadays you're not allowed to have sulfur in matches, not at least here in EU. Needless to say, they often lit out before they even fire up. The sulfur is there for reason, idiots! Give me my childhood smell back!
P.s. can you please tell me (i´m not native) what is wrong with your sentence? Shouldn´t it be "use" (without d) instead of "used"? It bogs the *** out me, so please answer, if you don´t mind?

The correct phrase to describe a past habit or state is "used to," with a 'd'
. "Use to" without the 'd' is generally considered incorrect in writing, although the pronunciations are nearly identical. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the answer, although i knew that already. But the phrase "did anybody (else) used.." to me sounds off for some reason. Am i totally wrong here or am i going crazy, since it certainly feels that way when I read that sentence?

not as "essential" as your flower and your cactus, but pretty good!

replyI don't know if I've ever done one so fast - 6 seconds
