I believe it's a container of cooked chicken with two drumsticks sticking out of the top.

Kentucky Fried Chicken sells their chicken in red and white buckets. That's the bottom half of the picture. The bucket holds ten or twelve pieces, which is more than the bucket will hide. Hence, two drumsticks (with frilly underwear; see kc_lind's second comment above) are sticking up--one to the left and one to the right.
