Yes, more properly called a candy cane, it looked very intimidating until I recognized the step pattern. Shading is excellent, the thumbnail is beautiful.

Nice.. I wonder: If you recognize a pattern, do you just act on it and fill the spaces just by "knowing the result" or do you ignore the image and only go by logical pattern? I'm new to colored puzzles!

This can be a challenge for me. I like to be able to prove by logic, but sometimes it's hard, especially when a pattern becomes obvious.
