I like the vacant stare. Interestingly, the vampire ground finch sometimes feeds on these (as well as blue-footed boobies) by pecking their skin and drinking their blood. I didn't realize there were birds that did this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire_ground_finch

Yeah, I realized on solving it that it was a bit hard to make out, so the ref pic helps.
