I have never commented to a puzzle.. But this one was really awesome! I was guessing what the picture will show, but I did'n understand, untill it hit me. And it hit me hard en yelled out loud. Beautiful picuture! Thank you so much. I havent enjoyed a puzzle as much as this one!

Having a ton of one-pixel chunks alternating like that doesn't make it more interesting or challenging, it just makes it time-consuming and irritating.

Not at all! You don't have to alternate the colour after every pixel, it's fairly obvious where they go, so just colour ahead. Great result.
