Well, it is still a character from a children's cartoon. I think it should at least be marked as 18+

Your mistake is assuming it's a "childrens cartoon". Honest recommendation, if you've never seen AtlA (or haven't watched it since you were a kid) - watch it. No matter your age.

I also watched it as an adult and I enjoyed it a lot. But you cannot deny that the main audience is children. It was aired on a children's network.
