This was not fun. The ONLY reason it was difficult was trying to figure out which squares were already filled with white. Everything else was straightforward and predictable. While the white next to white was a bit distinguishable, when the white was in between darker colors, you had no idea whether that space was filled or still to be counted.

Nice outcome but all that white made the puzzle way to much more difficult to do.
replyabsolutely loved it. It kept me entertained for hours. The difficulty of the white made it even more enjoyable for me.
replySo i just discovered in settings, that you can use your own palette whilst solving. Makes the white squares easy peasy. Just switch back as you finish and hey presto!
Nobody needs to complain.

Hey jp3
On the crossword you are solving - next to the full screen button there is a cogwheel for settings.
Down the bottom, in the experimental section you can choose to use your own palette.
Super easy that way.

Considering the size of the puzzle and number of colors (10), the picture has lack of details. Use of whites made the puzzle hard to see. Not my taste. Sorry.
replyExcellent picture and a very interesting puzzle to solve ...!!!.
