That just reminds me that i need to get back to the Langrisser 1+2 remaster at some point, as I never DID finish those games.
Also, if you never played them, the Langrisser series evolved into the Growlanser series, which was more of an unofficial spiritual successor but is one of my favorite set of strategy RPGs :D

not being a gamer in any sense, I still found this to be a fun quick puzzle. Also the title didn't "scare" me off of doing it as can happen and my mind goes to "not another ______ fill in the game/character/meme/etc.

This is amazing. I've done lots of black and white and slowly getting into colors now. This helps a great deal and it's so much fun with the shadowing as well. Thanks a lot!
