Very cute, reminds me of old C64 computer graphics :)

don't knock the good old C-64 ... with its 1 megahertz processing power and 16 color display, it was the PERFECT machine for its time (albeit, some 40 years ago) ...
world wide sales estimates were thought to be around 15 million units sold (making it one, if not THE BEST, selling single model computer of all time) ...
at least 10,000 software titles were made for the 64 ...
there were even a number of magazines were printed JUST for the C64 ... Ahoy, Byte, RUN, Compute's Gazette ...
what really pushed the sales, was WHERE it was being sold ... instead of a computer store, they went into regular retail, Sears, K-Mart, Toys-R-Us ...
even today, 2025, the Commodore 64 still holds it's brand name recognition, some 30+ years AFTER the last computer was ever made

I'm sorry sir but I'm a bit confused by this comment... I came nowhere close to knocking the C64 - I have very fond memories of it, and "cute" is meant to be complimentary here :) I love the Thalamus games, and I still listen to music from the C64 every now and again. (Particularly love Retrograde, Dragon's Lair 2, Delta, Wizball and more I forgot about!)

sorry for the confusion, you mistakenly took my tribute to the C-64 as some sort of insult ... I was not "knocking" the C-64, but instead I (at least I thought I was) was giving it the respect it deserved ... I had a C-64 and ran that machine for almost a decade before upgrading to a IBM clone
I also have very fond memories of my C-64 ... self teaching myself how to program ... The Bard's Tale I, II and III as well as Dragon Wars, Street Rods, 4th and Inches and like you said, a bunch more I forget

No I appreciated the tribute! Just didn't want you to think I was calling the C64 "old" like it's a bad thing! :)
replyAlso, it's fun to see your "some 40 years ago" comment considering I AM 40, haha! I am lucky to have parents who take an interest in computing and gaming, so they had a C64 which we played games on together. Pretty sure my first game was Bubble Bobble on the C64, which I played co-op with my mum :)
