Friendly reminder that to use the custom palette, you simply need to go to your user settings and set "beta-testing of the new page of solving the crossword" to "yes." From then you can just click the little gear above a nonogram and click the bottommost box labeled "Use your palette while solving color crosswords."
Those two steps will help with grams that might look great, but also feature five very similar shades of grey. Converting them to high contrast black, red, magenta, and so on.
No offense intended to the author. This is a great looking gram, but the custom palette makes a huge difference.

Thanks, iantgreat. You sent me a message awhile ago about this feature, but this is the first time I've made use of it. I had tried out beta and didn't really like it, plus and hadn't discovered that the ability to change the palette was only available in beta. I prefer the original, but at least I can switch to beta with puzzles like this one, thanks to your tip.
