First, I am literally working my way puzzles methodically without using titles, so I do not skip based on titles or color count etc. I have followed this series so far without bias and will continue. That said, for the size and topic of the puzzles they have become more and more annoying in their similarity. Too many very close colors on designs that are very so similar the "puzzle" has become boring (think early days of the site where you had 50 K shades of smiley faces). Author had potential to make great puzzles if you can get out of your rut.

The custom palette helps a lot when you're dealing with 6 shades of grey, like this one has, but it definitely takes a bit of the guesswork out of the puzzle. Normally you're like, "ooh, based off the palette this could be an eggplant," and then you'll be surprised as it turns out you're drawing Waluigi, but that exciting reveal is definitely missing when you've done your 22nd transformer in a row. I think we're nearing the end of the series though, and we can get back to Final Fantasy characters soon.

I totally agree! I do the same in principal. I choose size, hide title and hide completed. I could scream when I get yet another robot type puzzle. They are all very well planned but I've run out of patience.

oh wow I thought I was going mad and had done this one but after seeing your comments I can see its just really similar to another I have done recently. Also yes the 50 shades of grey keeps tripping me up

Yes, I found this one irritating -- more so than the others I've done. I do look at the titles in advance, but I'm so anal that I have to complete them anyway. I look forward to a return to colourful and interesting puzzles that appeal to more than just folks who like the characters portrayed. I'm glad, at least, like rosoid said above, that some really do enjoy them.
