The picture is not that bad, but seriously, 8 colors? And most of the solving process is just boring filling in, since many lines are full.

I agree, it could have been better. Maybe make it wider so you can add definition to the arms and legs.

Personally i think it's a nice change from the usually beginner mushrooms, apples and watermelons. :/
It's nice to have a picture that's simple to do, yet pretty in the end. :)

I tend to dislike puzzles with lots of different one-block colors because of the constant swapping, but this wasn't so bad because it's so small. Definitely a nice beginner puzzle with some interest.

I really like these quick puzzles once in a while. I just finished a tedious one that took me an hour, but this was exhilarating.
Creative picture unlike the usual smaller puzzles. Great job! Keep them coming!

boring no logic required...only annoyingly constant change in colors and a puzzle too tall needing to shift screen

Did you try reducing the size of the crossword? And if you want a hard brain cruncher, try a puzzle with a difficulty rating higher than 1.5. Just sayin'.
