That's exactly what I thought!
The characters name is just known as 'Pointy-haired Boss'. Scott Adams never gave him a name so that readers could imagine that he was their boss.

Glad I wasn't the only one to see Boss dude from Dilbert XD I forgot he had pupils, though, so it was an actual shock to me to fill those in. Haha!
