Saw some of these beautiful birds in Florida a couple of years ago. Wonder if one of the US composers would try this in colour?

I didn't know we had flamingos in this country! Well, other than the plastic flamingo-for-your-yard variety. Are they native to Florida or were they imports? Apparently they have flocks of the real thing in the Russian-speaking countries (also many varieties of hedgehogs and huge mushrooms). If you do a search under flamingo, you will find a beautiful color crossword by sergey. Vigil recently did a glorious one with the title Farewell.
